Huang Delin

Huang Delin, male, Han nationality, Professor, PhD, PhD supervisor, was born in October 1959 in Laohekou City, Hubei Province.

In January 1982, he graduated from the Department of Politics of Hubei Institute of Finance and Economics (now Zhongnan University of Economics and Law) with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy. From 1982 to 1984, he taught in Wuhan College of Geology. In 1987, he graduated from the Department of Politics of Central China Normal University with master’s degree in law. Since 1987, he has been teaching in China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) and was promoted to professor in 1997. In June 2002, he graduated from China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) with a doctor’s degree in Engineering, majoring in mineral survey and exploration, with the research direction in mineral resources economy. From 1998 to 1999, he worked as a senior visiting scholar at the Law Department of Hiroshima University. Concurrent academic posts: Vice President of Administrative Law Research Association of Hubei Law Society; Vice President of Environmental and Resource Protection Law Research Association of Hubei Law Society; Vice President of Environmental Law Research Association of Wuhan Law Society of Hubei Province.

He has been engaged in social science teaching and research for a long time. He has presided over 9 programs supported by the Social Science Fund of Hubei Province, China Postdoctoral Foundation, Wuhan Social Science Fund and Wuhan Soft Science Foundation, the major bidding project “Ecological Civilization and Environmental Legal System Construction” of the Key Research Base of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Ministry of Education, and participated in the major bidding project “Research on the Regional Differences Regarding Environmental Problems in China and the Evaluation Index System of Ecological Civilization” of the National Social Science Fund of China as the sub-project leader. He has presided over 12 researches sponsored by enterprises and institutions, has 16 monographs and textbooks published by China Social Science Press and China Science Press, and has published more than 60 academic papers in magazines such as Chinese Public Administration, Law Review, and Morality and Civilization. Some of the published papers had been reprinted by Xinhua Digest and China Social Science Excellence, RUC by abstracts or in full. “Problems in the Implementation of “Negative Encouragement” for Civil Servants and Countermeasures” (paper) won the third prize of the Fifth Outstanding Social Science Achievements Award of Hubei Province in 2007. Public Relations and the Construction of a Harmonious Society (monograph) won the third prize of the 6th Outstanding Social Science Achievements Award of Hubei Province in 2009. “Research on Geological Disaster Evaluation and Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Decision Support System for Badong Reservoir of the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River” (research report), won the third prize of the First Development Research Award of Hubei Province in 2011 (issued by the People’s Government of Hubei Province). “Research on Natural Heritage Protection Policy and System Innovation” (a series of papers) won the third prize of the 7th Outstanding Social Science Achievements Award of Hubei Province in 2011.
