1. Personal profile

Zhou Xuewu, born in November, 1963, PhD, professor of the Department of Land Resources Management of the School of Public Administration, China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), Han nationality, CPC member, native of Susong, Anhui Province, Registered Qualification Certified Gemologist (CGC), director of Gems and Jewelry Trade Association of China, member of China Land Science Society and member of Geological Society of China, has been engaged in teaching and research in mineral-rock-deposits, land resources investigation and evaluation, land-use planning, land reclamation and ecological restoration, Geopark application, planning and construction and protection of geological relics.

1981.9-1985.7  Bachelor’s degree, majoring in Geomechanics, Wuhan College of Geology

1985.9-1988.7  Master’s degree, majoring in Mineralogy, Graduate School of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan)

2003.9-2006.7  PhD, majoring in Mineralogy, Petrology and Mineralogy, Graduate School of China University of Geosciences (Beijing)

3. Scientific research achievements

More than 40 scientific research programs as the principal investigator or participator, one Provincial First-class Award for Progress in Science and Technology, 2 Provincial Second-class Awards for Progress in Science and Technology, one Ministerial Third-class Award for Progress in Science and Technology; more than 50 published academic papers and 6 monographs and textbooks.
