Xia Yunjiao
Xia Yunjiao, born in June 1973, female, master supervisor, postgraduate qualification, doctor of laws, deputy director of the Institute of Human Rights Law of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), is now the executive director of Hubei Administrative Law Research Association and the executive director of Hubei Local Legislation Research Association, and the government-sponsored visiting scholar at the Law School of Australian National University.
She is mainly engaged in the teaching and research of administrative law, administrative procedural law and legal English. She has presided over 5 projects, including the project supported by the Outstanding Youth Fund of China University of Geosciences, among which, the “Research on environmental administrative public interests litigation” was fully funded by the National Scholarship Committee of the People’s Republic of China for advanced studies in Australia in 2007. She has participated in 7 projects at province and ministry level, published more than 20 academic papers, edited 3 textbooks such as the Eleventh Five-year Planned Excellent Textbook of China University of Geosciences “Administrative Law and Administrative Procedural Law” and “Legal English” as the chief editor, and participated in writing two books, such as the “Study on the Management System of National Geopark”. In the establishment of the teachers’ teaching files in 2006, her record was “excellent”. She has been awarded the title of Excellent Advisor in the summer social practice of “Volunteer Activities for the Country People” for many times and “Excellent Advisor” at the Youth Science and Technology Festival of the University. In 2006, she also won the Outstanding Worker Award in the summer social practice of “Volunteer Activities for the Country People” of Hubei Province. In 2009, she was awarded as the First Graduate “Mentor” of China University of Geosciences.
