Wang Zhong

Wang Zhong (1979-), male, native of Wuhan, Hubei Province, PhD, associate professor, master supervisor, is now the Secretary and Deputy Director of the Department of Public Administration of the School of Public Administration of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan). He offers the courses such as Research on Chinese Local Government, Local Government, Public Administration, Administrative Principles and Case Analysis, and Theory and Method of Government Regulation. Main research fields: resources and environmental policy, mining rights market and government regulation, social governance of resource-based cities, etc.

At present, he is responsible for three projects as the principal investigator, including the “Research on risk transmission and regulation optimization of mining right replacement in resource-rich areas of China” supported by National Social Science Found of China, the “Research on the influence of land marginal utilization on macro economy and regulation policy” supported by the Funds for Central Universities, and the “Research on the market regulation policy of mining rights” entrusted by national ministries and commissions. He has participated in and completed the “Study on the control mode of occupational health and safety in China” supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, published more than 10 academic papers in Chinese Public Administration, Journal of Wuhan University of Technology, Journal of China University of Geosciences and other journals, and participated in the compilation of 4 textbooks and monographs, including Public Administration, Local Government, Human Resources Development and Management in the Public Sector, and Study on Occupational Health and Safety Regulation in China.
