12/2018 to present   Associate fellow of the School of Public Administration of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan)

IV. Academic Contributions

(1) Established the spatial distribution data set of cultivated land and forest and revealed the basic laws of cultivated land and forest changes in China for the past 300 years, and provided basic data for climate and ecological effects simulation. The results were published in Regional Environmental Change (2016), Global and Planetary Change (2015) and Progress in Geography (2010).

(2) Carried out a comparative study of LUCC between China and the United States for the past 300 years and a study on the accuracy evaluation of international data sets. The results were published in Science of the Total Environment (2019), Journal of Geographical Sciences (2013, 015) and Regional Environmental Change (2013).

(3) Constructed a grid reconstruction method of historical land use/cover change. The results were published in Journal of Geographical Sciences (2014), Geographical Research (2014).

(4) Environmental effect assessment of historical LUCC. Established the spatial data set of cultivated land, forest and grassland of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau with 1km resolution from 1900 to 2000, and used InVEST model to evaluate the changes of water conservation and soil conservation caused by LUCC in the past 100 years based the data set. Part of the results has been published in Progress in Geography (2015) and Journal of Geographical Sciences (2017).

(5) Evaluated the intensity of human activities on Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and evaluated the protection effect of nature reserves based on this. The results were published in Ecosystem Services (2018), Science of the Total Environment (2018), and Acta Ecologica Sinica (2018).
