Liu Qi, born in 1979, native of Shangcai, Henan Province, doctor of law, associate professor of the Department of Law of School of Public Administration of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), master supervisor, is mainly engaged in the teaching and research of basic legal theory and environmental resources legislation. In 2002, 2005 and 2017, he obtained the bachelor’s degree in law, master’s degree in law and PhD in law from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law respectively. Currently, he is a part-time lawyer and the executive director of Hubei Society of Law and Economics.
He has published more than 10 papers in newspapers and periodicals such as China Social Sciences Today, Legal Methodology and Legal Thought and Statistics & Decision, and has edited 2 textbooks as editor and deputy editor in chief. He has presided over 1 program supported by the Social Science Fund of Hubei Province, won 1 third prize of provincial teaching achievement award, and participated in 11 key programs of National Social Science Fund of China. He has been rated as the “Most Popular Teacher” of China University of Geosciences for many times, and jurisprudence course offered by him has been rated as the “Most Popular Course” of China University of Geosciences, ranking among the top 10% in teaching quality evaluation of the School for six consecutive years.
