Wang Juan, PhD in private international law of Wuhan University, and Master of Law of Michigan State University, had studied at Michigan State University in the United States and Macquarie University in Australia as a visiting scholar. Since joining the University in 2006, she has taught private international law, civil procedure law and Arbitration Law for undergraduate and master students, and international commercial arbitration for international students. He has led students to attend and practice in Wuhan Arbitration Commission and Hubei Higher People’s Court, and her practical teaching method is well received by students. Her main research field is the settlement of foreign-related civil and commercial disputes, and has published more than ten papers in core journals of law, published one monograph and participated in compiling two textbooks. The representative works include “Challenges Faced by Chinese Lawyers in Providing International Arbitration Legal Services in the Construction of One Belt and One Road”, Is Transnational Forensics through WeChat Video Legal?, “Comparative analysis on two cases of delivery without B/L from view-point of private international law”.

Mr. Wang is also a part-time lawyer of Hubei Dewei JunShang Law Firm, with the business fields involving foreign arbitration, foreign commercial mediation, foreign commercial settlement negotiation, recognition and enforcement of foreign civil and commercial judgments, overseas debt recovery, foreign divorce and inheritance. Miss Wang holds the Chinese lawyer’s license and the lawyer’s license of New York State, is a member of New York State Bar Association, a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, and a director of China Society of Private International Law.
