An On-duty Meeting of Reposting Leading Cadres Held by This School

(Reported by Wang Xinyu) On May 10, this School held an on-duty meeting of reposting leading cadres in No. 101 Report Hall, Key Laboratory of Land and Natural Resources Law Evaluation Engineering under Ministry of Natural Resources. Tang Huiming, the Vice Secretary of the Party Committee of CUG, Liang Benzhe, the Deputy Director of Organization Department of the Party Committee of CUG, the members of the leading group of the Party Committee and the administration of this School, the representatives of the teaching staff and students, etc., attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Liang Benzhe, the Deputy Director of Organization Department of the Party Committee of CUG.

Firstly, Deputy Secretary Tang Huiming read out the appointment and removal document of the Party Committee of CUG, which approved the application of  Comrade Wang Zhanqi for resign from the dean of School of Public Management, and appointed Comrade Hu shougeng as Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, the dean of School of Public Administration and the director of MPA Education Center (concurrently), and then he briefly introduced the basic information, work experience, research achievements and personal honors of Hu shougeng.

Secondly, Comrade Wang Zhanqi delivered his resignation speech. He said that he firmly supported and obeyed the decision of the Party Committee of CUG, and expressed his heartfelt thanks for the strong support given by the leaders of CUG, the members of the leading team of this School and all the staff during his term of office. He also believed that this School would achieve a new leap forward under the correct leadership of the Party Committee and the administration of CUG and the leadership of the new leading team of this School.

Thirdly, Comrade Hu shougeng made an on-duty speech. He expressed his gratitude to CUG for the trust. He said that he would continue to arm the mind with Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, stress the political education, take the overall situation into consideration, stress on the career, strive for development, stress on responsibility and stress the contribution, be uncorrupted and abide by rules, change roles as soon as possible, and perform the duties wholeheartedly and promote the development of this School to a new high.

Fourthly, Zhang Jijun, Secretary of the Party committee of this School, made a speech on behalf of the leading group of the Party Committee and the administration of this School. On behalf of all the teachers and students of this School, he affirmed Comrade Wang Zhanqi's contribution to the development of this School, welcomed Comrade Hu shougeng to perform his duties, and proposed that the new leading team members should continue to strengthen theoretical study and strengthen the construction of the team in the future, unite and lead the staff to promote this School to get a better and faster development.

Finally, Vice Secretary Tang Huiming summarized the speech. He fully affirmed the good situation of the vigorous development of this School in recent years and the achievements made by President Wang Zhanqi in the development of this School, and put forward three hopes for the future development of this School: first, further improve the political stance and deeply study the important comments of General Secretary Xi Jinping on education; second, further refine the culture and spirit of School of Public Administration, and create a more profound history; third, unswervingly do a good job in personnel training and discipline construction, and accelerate all undertakings of this School to achieve a new leap forward.
