2019 MPA Graduates Present Commemorative Plaques to School of Public Administration and MPA Education Center

At 9:00 a.m. on June 19, the activity of presenting plaques to the School of Public Administration and MPA Education Center by 2019 MPA graduates was held in the conference room B209. Professor Zhang Jijun, Secretary of the Party committee of the School, Professor Zeng Wei, Chairman of the Labor Union, Associate Professor Wang Zhong, Deputy Dean in charge of MPA work, and representatives of MPA graduates of Grade 2019 attended the activity. Mr. Pu Mingqiang, Secretary of MPA Education Center, presided over the activity.

Secretary Zhang Jijun, Chairman Zeng Wei and Deputy Dean Wang Zhong delivered speeches on behalf of the School and MPA Education Center respectively. Secretary Zhang Jijun introduced the development process and discipline construction of the School of Public Administration, and congratulated MPA graduates on overcoming various difficulties in study, successfully completing the dissertation defense and obtaining the master’s degree. He hoped that in the future work and study, we should keep in mind the school motto, work hard and repay our alma mater with greater and better performance. Chairman Zeng Wei recalled the “the first class” for students, fully affirmed the students’ ability to graduate in advance, and encouraged them to continue to keep their knowledge seeking desire, enrich their knowledge, broaden their vision and increase their talents in their future life and work. Finally, Deputy Dean Wang Zhong made a concluding speech. He congratulated the students on their achievements, expressed his reluctance for the graduates to leave school, and hoped that the graduates would go back to their alma mater, School and MPA Education Center to continue to care for and support our work.

Hong Shengnan, a 2019 MPA graduate student, made a speech on behalf of the graduate. She expressed her gratitude to the School, MPA Education Center and teachers for their teaching and training. In particular, MPA Education Center had organized students to participate in a variety of cultural and sports activities, lectures, social practice and other activities. MPA graduates would bear in mind the school motto and the instructions from the leaders of the School of Public Administration and MPA Education Center and teachers, and forge ahead and work hard, live up to their youth, to repay our alma mater with better performance. In the meanwhile, she also hoped that the friendship of 2019 MPA graduates would “gather as a fire and scatter as stars”, for mutual promotion and common progress.
