A Cooperative Agreement on Joint Postgraduate Education Base Signed by and between SPA and Qinghai Nuclear Geology  

(Reported by Qian Wenqiang) On July 22, led by the former vice president Xin Xiangqin, a team of 5 representives from this School, including Deputy Secretary Liu Guohua, Head of Department of Public Administration Professor Liu Shixiang and Doctor Qian Wenqiang, attended “Xining 2^nd Docking Meeting for Transfer and Transformation of Scientific and Technical Fruits in 2021” and signed a cooperative agreement on joint postgraduate education base with Qinhai Nuclear Geology.  

At the signing ceremony, Professor Xin Xiangqin stressed that the relation between CUG and Qinghai Nuclear Geology had a long history, so many graduates from CUG had served the social and economic development in Qinghai Province before. He also hoped that SPA and Qinghai Nuclear Geology seized the opportunity  of building the joint postgraduate education base to accelerate the further development of the relations between both parties. Subsequently, Deputy Secretary Liu Guohua, on behalf of SPA, signed Cooperative Agreement on Joint Postgraduate Education Base with Qinghai Nuclear Geology; Professor Xin Xiangqin and a member of Party Committee & Vice Director of Qinghai Nuclear Geology Li Weimin unveiled nameplate of “Joint Postgraduate Education Base between China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) and Qinghai Nuclear Geology”. Both parties consistently agreed that both parties would continue to strengthen the cooperation and jointly accelerate the construction of “Qinghaisheng Academician Zhaopengda Innovation Center for Ecological Protection and Restoration and Environmental Governance” declared by Qinghai Nuclear Geology.  

During the stay in Xining, the team, with the leadership of Professor Xin Xiangqin, participated in “Xining 2^nd Docking Meeting for Transfer and Transformation of Scientific and Technical Fruits in 2021 & Xining-Wuhan and Xining-Nanjing Special Docking Meeting” and Deputy Secretary Liu Guohua as a honorable guest, pressed the opening button of “Xining 2^nd Docking Meeting for Transfer and Transformation of Scientific and Technical Fruits in 2021 & Xining-Wuhan and Xining-Nanjing Special Docking Meeting” together with other five persons including Vice Major of Xining City Chen Aihong. After the opening ceremony, based on the long-term close cooperation relationship, Deputy Secretary Liu Guohua and Vice Director Li Weimin jointly signed a framework agreement for strategic cooperation. In addition, this team also attended a series of activities including keynote speech, release of achievements, scientific and technical demand, demand for talents and informal discussion with the alumni.
