On the Way To A Happy School of Public Administration

(Reported by Li Jijie, photographed by Liu Guohua and Wei Xiguang) In order to further enhance the cohesion of the faculty members, build a happy school of public administration and celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of CUG, the Party Committee, the administration and Labor Union of this School organized all faculty members together with their family members to take an autumn trip to Wulijie, Jiangxia District for team building, and celebrate the birthday of some faculty members collectively.

In Nongjiafan Bay, they visited farmhouses and villages, learnt about the implementation of "rural revitalization" strategy at the grass-roots level, learnt the practical experience of building "beautiful countryside" and experienced the achievements of the party's new rural construction. In particular, the guidance of party building, "prospering villages with five theme-focused buildings" (standardization of Party branches, organization of farmers, regionalization of organizations, integration of development and refinement of governance) made a deep impression on the teachers, which provided a reference for this School to carry out party building work.

After the visit, the faculty members walked by Liangzi Lake, strolled around Autumn Moon over the Calm Lake, and enjoyed the beautiful scenery of Liangzi Lake together, relaxed their mood and enhanced their feelings.

At noon, they held a meaningful birthday party for Zhang Jijun, Liang Dijian, Yao Xiaowei and Chen Xing in Xiaozhuwan. Secretary Zhang Quankuan delivered a speech to four teachers at the scene, expressing his best wishes. Dean Hu Shougeng presented the flowers to four teachers. The teachers collectively sang Happy Birthday songs, and the scene was full of cheerful chatting and laughing. After dinner, children were organized to pick in orange orchards.

For many years, School of Public Administration has been committed to building an excellent, harmonious, happy and open School of Public Administration,  the faculty members have been taking this School as their home and contributing to the construction of this School. The team building event & autumn trip benefited from the meticulous organization of this School, and was strongly supported by all the faculty members and their families. It had greatly enhanced the faculty members’ sense of identity with this School, enhanced cohesion and achieved good results. They believed that under the leadership of the Party Committee and the administration of this School, this School would take the opportunity of welcoming the 70th anniversary of the founding of CUG to start from a new starting point and make greater achievements.
