A Special Meeting Held by the Theoretical Study Central Group of the Party Committee of This School

 (Correspondent: Li Jijie, Photographer: Hu Ling) On November 25, our school held an expanded meeting of the theoretical study central group of the Party Committee in Conference Room 227 of North No. 1 Building to carry out special studies around the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee. Members of the theoretical study central group of the Party Committee of the school, party branch secretary of each department and members of the party branch directly under the school attended the meeting. Zhang Kuanyu, secretary of the Party Committee of the school, presided over the meeting.

“The Resolution of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on the Great Achievements and Historical Experiences of the Party's Centennial Struggle”, which was deliberated and adopted at the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, profoundly reveals "why we have been successful in the past and how we can continue to be successful in the future". It is a Marxist programmatic document, a political manifesto for the Chinese Communists in the new era to remember their original mission, adhere to and develop socialism with Chinese characteristics, and an action guide to learn from history, create the future and achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. The “Resolution” summarizes the valuable historical experience of the Party's century-long struggle in "ten insistences", which is the spiritual wealth created by the Party and the people, and must be cherished, adhered to for a long time, and constantly enriched and developed in practice. The "Two Establishments" proposed by the plenary session is the call of the times, the choice of history, the people's heart, and is of decisive significance in the new era to coordinate the "Two Overall Situations", cope with the complex situation and all kinds of risks and challenges, achieve the development of the Party and the state, and advance the historical process of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

Zhang Kuanyu, secretary of the Party Committee of the Institute, first led everyone to learn the “Resolution of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on the Great Achievements and Historical Experiences of the Party's Centennial Struggle”, and made an in-depth interpretation of the historic achievements and changes of "Ten Clarifications ", "Ten Insistences" and "Thirteen Aspects".

Dean Hu Shougeng shared his learning experience: without forgetting the original intention, we can always achieve our goals. Our party has always been good at summarizing historical experience, good at self-revolution, and the “Resolution of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on the Great Achievements and Historical Experiences of the Party's Centennial Struggle” has made a scientific and comprehensive summary of our party's centennial struggle experience and pointed out the next direction of efforts. Especially since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the CPC Central Committee has paid unprecedented attention to the construction of ecological civilization, made great strides in the construction of beautiful China, and made historic, transitional and overall changes in China's ecological environment protection. At present, as an integrated school of management, law and engineering, our school should further strengthen the integration of disciplines in serving the construction of ecological civilization and strive for better results.

Zhang Kuanyu, secretary of the Party Committee of the School, said that on the basis of the "eight clarifications" of the report of the 19th National Congress, the core content of Xi Jinping's thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era was further summarized with "ten clarifications". These "ten clarifications" are our party's action guide at present and for quite a long time in the future, and will play a leading role in further uniting the will, thinking and pace of the whole party. In the next step, we should make efforts to carry out in-depth study of the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, and use the spirit of the Plenary Session to stimulate the implementation of the 14th Five-Year Plan; we should make efforts to do practical things for teachers and students, and further improve the school-running conditions and teachers' office conditions; we should make efforts in the balanced development of disciplines, and form a balanced development pattern.
