Li Bin, Manager of SGIDI Engineering Consulting (Group) Hubei Branch and His Party Came to This School for Exchange

(Reported by Li Jijie) On the afternoon of January 10, Li Bin, Manager of SGIDI Engineering Consulting (Group) Hubei Branch, and his party came to this school for exchange. Hu Shougeng, Dean of the School, Liu Guohua, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Wang Zhanqi, Zhou Xuewu, Zhu Jianghong and Fang Shiming, teachers of the Department of Land Resources Management, and Wu Bo, a counselor of the Student Affairs Leading Group attended the seminar, which was hosted by Deputy Secretary Liu Guohua.

SGIDI Engineering Consulting Co., Ltd is a subordinate company of China Three Gorges Corporation, with nearly 1,900 employees on the job, including 21 leading talents enjoying special allowances from the State Council and leading talents at provincial and ministerial levels. Its main business covers water conservancy, electric power, construction, ecology and environment, municipal administration, new energy, etc., with full-process technical and management service capabilities.

At the seminar, Mr. Wang Zhanqi and Manager Li Bin introduced the basic situation of their own units respectively.

Dean Hu Shougeng expressed a warm welcome to Manager Li Bin and his party on behalf of the School. He emphasized that it is one of the main functions of universities to provide good social services, and the discipline of public management is an advantageous discipline of the School. Giving full play to the advantages of discipline resources to serve the protection and development of Yangtze River basin is both the historical responsibility of scientific research of universities in the new era and an important direction of discipline construction and development. The negotiation is just a good start of cooperation and exchange, and we look forward to a more in-depth and comprehensive cooperation in the future.

After consultation at the meeting, both sides agreed to keep in close contact, and put forward a clear intention to develop a framework agreement on cooperation between the two sides.
