School of Public Administration Holds the Administrative Team Debriefing, Integrity Statement, Summing-up and Commendation Meeting

(Reported by Li Jijie) On the morning of January 6, the School of Public Administration held the 2021 administrative team debriefing, integrity statement, summing-up and commendation meeting in the report hall of the Yingbing Building in East District. Tang Huiming, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of CUG, Liang Benzhe, deputy director of the Organization Department of the Party Committee of CUG, members of the leadership team of the party and administration of the School, all staff, student representatives and representatives of international students attended the meeting.

The meeting was divided into two parts, and the first part was the general meeting of the administrative leadership team.

The general meeting of the administrative leadership team was held in two stages. The first stage was the presentation of the administrative leadership team and members, which was chaired by Zhang Kuanyu, secretary of the party committee of the School.

First of all, Comrade Liang Benzhe, deputy director of the Organization Department of the Party Committee of CUG, read out the general reply.

Second, Dean Hu Shougeng reported on his duties on behalf of the team, reviewed the performance of the current team in the past five years, found out the shortcomings and weak links, and put forward the development measures of the School in the future.

Third, Deputy Dean Cai Huilian, Wang Zhong, Gong Jian reported on their work and integrity in combination with their own work and business.

In the second stage, all participants conducted democratic evaluation on the comrades whose term of office expired.

The second part of the meeting was the team report and summary commendation, which was presided over by Zhang Kuanyu, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School.

In the first stage, Zhang Kuanyu, Secretary of the Party committee, and Liu Guohua, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, reported on their work and integrity in terms of morality, ability, diligence and performance.

In the second stage, all faculty and staff evaluated the style satisfaction of CUG and the management service organizations through network platform.

The third stage was the summing-up and commendation meeting of the School.

First of all, the new section-level cadres were announced to their posts, and the new employees introduced themselves in turn.

Second, the Department of Public Administration, the Department of Land Resources Management, the Department of Law, the Key Laboratory of Rule of Law Research of the Ministry of Natural Resources, and the MPA Education Center presented their duties in turn.

Third, the trade union of the School reported on their work.

Fourth, Dean Hu Shougeng made a report on the progress and effectiveness of the main work and financial disclosure in 2021. On behalf of the members of the leadership team of the School, he said that the achievements and changes in the School in 2021 were due to the strong leadership and support of the Party Committee of the University, the concerted efforts of all teachers and students, and the solid foundation laid by Secretary Zhang Jijun and Dean Wang Zhanqi, and expressed his deep gratitude.

The fifth was to commend the comprehensive excellence, teaching excellence, scientific research excellence, discipline construction excellence, interdisciplinary excellence, first-class professional construction excellence, new professional construction excellence, management excellence, anti-epidemic advanced, trade union activists, advanced propaganda, advanced employment, excellent class teachers, excellent party workers, excellent party members, etc.

In particular, the School presented special awards to Mr. Zhang Jijun and Mr. Tian Jiahua, in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the construction of the School of Public Administration over a long period of time.

Sixth, Liu Guohua, deputy secretary of the Party Committee, arranged precautions such as holiday epidemic prevention and safety.

Finally, Tang Huiming, Deputy Secretary made a concluding speech.

Secretary Tang appreciated the construction concept of "Excellent, open, harmonious, and happy School of Public Administration", and affirmed the outstanding achievements of the School in faculty construction, talent training, discipline construction, scientific research, and student work in 2021, and put forward five hopes for the next development. First, we should take the party building as the guide and work harder to do a good job in the comprehensive construction of the School. Second, we should combine discipline construction with national needs and strive for a new level of discipline construction. Third, we should continue to make efforts in talent team construction. Fourth, we should continuously improve the training quality of undergraduate and graduate students, find the right entry point, and strive to open a university-wide public elective course. Fifth, we should continuously strengthen the ideological and political construction of curriculum.

The achievements of 2021 belong to the past, the hopeful 2022 has arrived, and a better tomorrow belongs to the hard-working and down-to-earth public administration people!
